Technical Execution

  1. Live Shooting

I was recorded by Christian Huthmacher at Ringling College of Art and Design. I had to take this footage and composite it through nukeX to create this piece for adidas. Unfortunately I don’t have the live footage of the event.

2. NukeX

After exporting R3D footage of me into a pre rendered version, allowed more opportunities to use it in nuke without wearing the software down. After importing it into nuke, I created my own ssets to animate in the background behind it.

Step 1 Take R3D Footage provided by Nickelodeon and composite it in NukeX

Step 2. Key the footage in NukeX

Step 3. Composite in unreal engine 5.4’s background with NukeX compositing other various nickelodeon Assets

Breakdown

4. After Effects

The Logo animation and the shots that were not completed in Unreal engine were done in Cinema4D. It allowed detailed specific scenes as opposed to having a whole environment. The logo animation was made by me.

Learning and outcomes

This project forced me to learn how to think on the fly, I had two weeks to pull this project off after filming, I constantly had to test ideas on my freetime and go with my gut and learn to be self autonomous to pull this one off.
